Old Labor TV Commercials

You're not likely to see commercials like these anytime soon.

This one here is a 1974 commercial advertising the Equal Pay Act and get this...urging people to contact the Department of Labor. This is when the DOL did more than just go after labor unions.

This one was a commercial advertising the labor union AFSCME showing all the types of workers they represent. Someone overdubbed the commercial making it a real treat.

Actually, the enforcement of Equal Pay Act was transferred to the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission back in 1977 or 1978, so that is why there is no longer any enforcement at the Labor Department.
